CHARISM COLLECTIVE TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective Date: August 1, 2025

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing and using the Charism Collective website, services, and community platforms (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

The Charism Collective is a spiritual healing and wellness community dedicated to fostering the development of individual charisms (unique spiritual gifts) through a supportive collective environment.

2. MEMBERSHIP TYPES AND ACCESS

2.1 Free Community Membership (Lightworkers’ Circle Community)

  • Access to community connection channel (#lightworkers-circle)
  • Free live and recorded events via YouTube channel and Zoom
  • Access to blog content
  • Information about public events, workshops, and courses
  • No payment required, but registration through the website is mandatory

2.2 Supporter Collective Membership

  • All benefits of Free Community Membership
  • Access to most Slack channels
  • Access to related recordings and exclusive content
  • Discounted rates on paid sessions and workshops
  • Optional participation in Charism Leadership Council
  • Monthly subscription fee applies

2.3 Facilitator Collective Membership

  • All benefits of Supporter Membership
  • Access to all Slack channels
  • Blog posting privileges
  • Access to shared Charism Collective Facilitators Zoom account
  • Free or discounted access to workshops and events
  • Opportunity to participate in collaborative projects and profit-sharing ventures
  • Participation in Charism Leadership Council
  • Optional @charismcollective.com email address (additional fee applies)
  • Monthly subscription fee applies

3. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES AND CONDUCT

3.1 Respectful Communication

Members must maintain respectful, supportive, and inclusive communication in all interactions within the community. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

3.2 Spiritual Practices

While we welcome diverse spiritual backgrounds and practices, all activities must align with our core values of healing, unity, and service to the highest good.

3.3 Professional Standards

Facilitator members offering services through the collective must maintain appropriate professional standards and qualifications for their respective healing modalities.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONTENT

4.1 User-Generated Content

By posting content to our platforms, you grant the Charism Collective a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with our Services.

4.2 Proprietary Content

4.2.1 Charism Collective Intellectual Property

All materials, recordings, courses, and content created by the Charism Collective remain our intellectual property and may not be redistributed, reproduced, or sold without express written permission.

4.2.2 Third-Party Copyright Compliance

Facilitators and course authors must respect all copyright, intellectual property rights, and privacy rights of third parties. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Recordings of workshops, courses, or events that include other participants or presenters.
  • Educational materials, slides, handouts, or resources created by others.
  • Music, images, videos, or other media not owned by the facilitator.
  • Any content for which the facilitator does not hold explicit copyright or licensing rights.

4.2.3 Prohibition on Unauthorized Recording Distribution

Facilitators and course authors are strictly prohibited from:

  • Posting, publishing, or distributing any recordings (audio or video) containing copyrighted content without express written permission from all copyright holders.
  • Selling or monetizing recordings that include third-party intellectual property without proper authorization.
  • Sharing recordings of group sessions, workshops, or events without obtaining prior written consent from all participants and copyright holders.
  • Using platform recordings (Zoom, YouTube, etc.) for commercial purposes without verifying all necessary rights and permissions.

4.2.4 Permission Requirements

Before posting, selling, or distributing any recording, facilitators and course authors must:

  • Obtain express written permission from all copyright holders whose content appears in the recording.
  • Secure releases from all identifiable participants who appear in or contribute to the recording.
  • Maintain documentation of all permissions and releases for a minimum of three (3) years.
  • Provide proof of permissions to the Charism Collective upon request.

4.2.5 Consequences of Copyright Violations

Violations of these copyright protection provisions may result in:

  • Immediate removal of infringing content.
  • Suspension or termination of membership.
  • Revocation of posting and facilitator privileges.
  • Legal action to protect third-party rights.
  • Financial liability for damages incurred by copyright holders or the Charism Collective.

The Charism Collective reserves the right to remove any content that violates copyright laws or these Terms without prior notice.

4.3 Blog Content

Facilitator members may post to our blog, and such content becomes part of our marketing and educational materials accessible to website visitors and subscribers.

5. PAYMENT TERMS AND REFUNDS

5.1 Membership Fees

Supporter and Facilitator memberships require monthly subscription payments. Fees are due in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

5.2 Additional Services

Optional services such as custom email addresses and insurance programs require additional fees as specified.

5.3 Profit Sharing

Facilitator members may participate in profit-sharing arrangements for workshops, events, or courses offered through the collective, subject to separate agreements.

6. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

6.1 Information Collection

We collect and process personal information necessary to provide our Services, including contact information, payment details, and participation records.

6.2 Communication Platforms

We use various platforms including Slack, Zoom, Luma Events, and our website to deliver services. Your use of these platforms is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6.3 Marketing Communications

By joining, you consent to receive newsletters, event notifications, and marketing communications. You may opt out at any time.

7. DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION

The Charism Collective is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where individuals of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities feel valued and respected. We actively support equitable access to knowledge, mentorship, and growth opportunities for every member.

We honor the wisdom of ancient cultures and belief systems that inspire our practices while ensuring our community reflects diverse perspectives and experiences.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1 Spiritual and Healing Services

The Charism Collective and its members provide spiritual and healing services for educational and wellness purposes. These services are not intended to replace professional medical, psychological, or legal advice.

8.2 Member Services

Individual members offering services through the collective are responsible for their own professional conduct and qualifications. The Charism Collective does not guarantee the effectiveness of any healing modality or service.

8.3 Technical Issues

We are not liable for technical difficulties, platform outages, or access issues that may affect your ability to participate in events or access content.

9. TERMINATION

9.1 Voluntary Termination

Members may cancel their membership at any time through their account settings. Access to paid membership benefits will continue until the end of the current billing period.

9.2 Involuntary Termination

We reserve the right to terminate memberships for violations of these Terms, including inappropriate conduct, failure to pay fees, or actions that harm the community.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, access to private channels, exclusive content, and member-only events will be revoked. Previously accessed content may not be retained or redistributed.

10. PLATFORM-SPECIFIC TERMS

10.1 Slack Workspace

Access to our Slack workspace is governed by Slack’s Terms of Service and our community guidelines. Channel access varies by membership level.

10.2 Zoom Services

Virtual events and the Facilitator Zoom account are subject to Zoom’s Terms of Service and usage policies.

10.3 Website and Luma Events

Event registration and notifications may be managed through Luma Events and are subject to their platform terms.

11. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

Group insurance options are available for members at an additional cost and subject to related terms. Members who do not access group insurance are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

12. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to members via email and platform notifications. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith discussion or, if necessary, through binding arbitration.
